1. Gym or lecture hall set with chairs on ½ of the room, and open space for small group discussions and work outs on the other ½ of the room. Option #2: Two large rooms in close proximity. 120 teens min.
2. Sound Equipment
a. LCD Projector for Media Shout presentation and one large screen in the middle of the room, or two screens, one on each wing.
b. Lapel or head mic and 2 podiums for speaker- one on stage right, one on stage left
c. Microphones and equipment for worship team your church will provide.
d. Hand held microphone for roaming (allows kids to answer questions)
3. Technical support people for the sound and Media Shout (at least 2). Every system works differently and technical support is vital to a smooth program. Sound checks and run-throughs on Friday night are advisable. Also need access to a facility person for lighting, air conditioning, etc.
Please provide a volunteer photographer if possible to take digital shots (will be displayed on the FIT Website)
4. 10 Large rectangular tables for registration, T-shirts and manuals, lunch items and bottled water.
5. One college or adult female small group leader for every 6-10 participants registered. These can be from the host church as well as from the surrounding community. Sources to pull from are:
Youth Group Leaders, Young Life Leaders, Youth For Christ Interns, Jr. High Dept.
Interns, Ladies Bibles Study groups, Young Married Group, and College and Career Group.
6. Lunch & Snack arrangements. All choices must be fairly healthy. FIT Decisions will arrange for the Subway style sandwiches and Baked Lays chips for lunch. Morning snacks may consist of bagels or muffins. Afternoon snacks will be Luna bars (provided by FIT) and fruit of any type. FIT decisions will provide sponsorship letters to be passed out to local stores, Costco, Safeway, bakeries, etc. Many community businesses enjoy donating items.
7. FIT Decisions Foundation will provide airfare, and lodging for their speakers. Host church will
need to provide transportation from airport to facility and hotel.
8 . A team of people to provide your choice of decorations and to set up and decorate on Friday night.
9. A team of at least 10 volunteers. (see attached volunteers form)
