Sandy Richardson
Sandy works in public and professional relations for Remuda Ranch Center for Anorexia and Bulimia. Sandy is a frequent speaker at many schools, churches, conferences, and community and professional groups. Sandy has a bachelor's degree in health administration and served 11 years as an aircraft maintenance officer in the Air Force and the Air National Guard. Following treatment for an eating disorder at Remuda Ranch in 1990, Sandy began to work for the center in marketing and patient admissions from her home in Wisconsin. Sandy and her family relocated to Arizona in 1999 when she began to work full time for Remuda Ranch. She previously served as the Executive Director of The Remuda Foundation. Sandy has authored a book on eating disorders and has created teaching videos and devotional CDs on the media's influence on body image, and eating disorder recovery. Remuda Ranch also partners with F.I.T. Decisions by sponsoring F.I.T. with a grant for participation in the Youth Specialties Trade show in November 2002. She is married with two daughters. Sandy Richardson lends her expertise to F.I.T. Decisions as an advisor and board member, as well as speaker and writer.
