| Having worn the crown of Mrs. Alabama/America it is Lydia’s desire for all young women to receive a more important crown -- the crown of Jesus. She encourages them to become physically, emotionally, and spiritually fit while equipping them with knowledge and skills to succeed. She is a mentor to girls in the areas of self-esteem, body image, purity, and goal setting. Lydia is a Registered Nurse with training in Family and Child Development. In her current position as a Leadership Development specialist, Lydia equips others to become effective leaders. She draws upon this background as well as her experiences as a marathon runner, tennis instructor, tri-athlete, and model as she motivates and encourages young women to reach their full potential. Lydia enjoys being a wife and mother of 3 sons. She and her family live in Huntsville, Alabama.
