Joe Dallas
is the Program Director of Genesis Counseling in Tustin, California, a Christian counseling service to men dealing with sexual addiction, homosexuality and other sexual/relational problems. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and is the author of four books on human sexuality from the Christian perspective, including Desires in Conflict (Harvest House 1991) A Strong Delusion (Harvest House 1996) and When Homosexuality Hits Home (Harvest House 2004)

Joe has also served as contributing editor to a number of books, and his articles have appeared in Christianity Today Magazine (cover story June 1992) the Journal of the Christian Association of Psychological Studies, The Christian Research Journal and The Southern California Christian Times. His work has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, Moody Monthly, New Man Magazine and the Boston Globe. He currently directs the “Pure Restoration” workshop, a monthly five-day men’s national retreat seminar on sexual purity, and is a regularly featured speaker with the Focus on the Family “Love Won Out” conference.

Dallas has represented the Christian viewpoint through a number of media appearances, including the ABC Evening News, The Joan Rivers Show, The Bible Answer Man, The 700 Club, Jay Sekalow Live and Concerned Women of America, and he has addressed conferences, churches and universities across the country, including the Promise Keepers Men's Conference, Moody Bible Church, The Christian Association for Professional Studies, the annual conference of the American Association of Christian Counselors, Princeton Theological Seminary and the annual Exodus North America conference. He has also lectured and debated in Norway, Denmark, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Geneva, and served for three years as the President of Exodus International.

Joe and his wife Renee reside in Orange, California, with their two sons.
