ARTICLE: "Unwind Yourself"

Warm ocean breezes on your face, sand between your toes, a cool dip in the lake, a nap on a beach towel...summer is the time to kick back and relax. This is your chance to de-stress and get caught up on some much-needed down time. Instead of over booking your social calendar, plan for a lot of un-planned time this summer.

Now is the time to spend the whole day puttering in your room to reorganize and toss out things you don't need. Read a book that hasn't been assigned in class!

* Take a walk.
* Stare at the stars and ponder the universe.
* Bake cookies.
* Do things you enjoy but just don't have time to do during the school year.

Use the break from school and sports to unwind from the typical whirlwind schedule so your body and mind can reboot before the fall frenzy begins.
